Presented in conjunction with ‘THE PARTY’, a UNSW Galleries landmark exhibition celebrating LGBTQI+ party culture in Sydney from 1973 to 2002, Arc Creative welcomes you to ‘The Party’ Party, one of many places where the legacies of the artists ball and queer dance party meet, for Sydney World Pride 2023. This is a gathering where temperatures rise until we shine, a place of learning and exchange, together forming diamonds under pressure. Feel the rush as body temperatures rise with artworks, DJ sets, performances and photography with emerging incandescent flames of Sydney’s queer art communities.
This event takes place on the land of the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging and extend that to all First Nations people.
