Eesti Vabariigi sünnipäev on 24. veebruaril — päev, mil 1918. aastal loeti ette „Manifest kõigile Eestimaa rahvastele“ ja kuulutati välja iseseisev Eesti riik. See oli hetk, mil meie rahvas sai seista oma jalgadel ja maailm kuulis esimest korda vaba Eesti häält.

Kuigi eestlased, meie keel ja kombed on siin maal elanud juba tuhandeid aastaid, tähistab see päev meie tänapäevase riigi sündi — vabaduse, visaduse ja eestluse vaimu võitu.

Meie koguneme pidutsema juba 22. veebruaril Eesti Majas! Tule tähistama koos meiega, heisakem sinimustvalge, naudime head seltskonda, muusikat, traditsioonilisi maitseid ja ühist rõõmu.

Come Celebrate Estonia’s Independence Day at Eesti Maja!

Estonia’s Independence Day is on 24 February — the day in 1918 when the “Manifesto to the Peoples of Estonia” was proclaimed and the independent Republic of Estonia was born. It was the moment our nation stood on its own feet and the world first heard the voice of a free Estonia.

Although Estonians, our language, and our traditions have lived on this land for thousands of years, this day marks the birth of our modern state — a celebration of freedom, resilience, and the enduring Estonian spirit.

We’ll be gathering to celebrate a little earlier — on 22 February at Eesti Maja!
Join us as we raise the blue, black, and white, enjoy good company, music, traditional food, and the joy of being together.
